
The group firmly believes that the four main criteria in providing
quality-guarding services are – SELECTION, POLICE VERIFICATION, TRAINING,
AND SUPERVISION.
Selection
Utmost attention is given to recruitment of personnel in
accordance with stringent parameters laid down as a Group policy. This
includes education, age, physical fitness and background. All employees
are subjected to rigorous vetting. Further, our Internal Security
Department in each region is responsible for verification and background
checks on services records of each employee.
Police Verification
All security personnel are thoroughly screened and verified
vide police records before selection. Complete details of place of
residence, references, photographs, fingerprints and employment history
are kept on record.
Training
Before deployment, it is mandatory for all GEEKAY employees to
undertake a Basic Security Training Course, which imparts necessary skills
to perform duties. In addition to lessons on basic guarding skills they
are taught the rudiments of First Fighting and Fire Aid. The training
process is ongoing and progressive throughout the employee’s career, to
refresh and further develop their knowledge.
Supervision
We realize that supervision is equally important in order to
provide quality service. In this regard, we have a strong operations team
comprising of Managers, Field Officers and Beat Marshall’s who constantly
check on our assignments and guards. This entire operation is backed by a
24 hour Control Room to enable clients and our guards to obtain assistance
at any time.
